Offered for auction is an interesting late war M40 dutch helmet as used by the Fire Police (indicated by the P and flame). This unit was part of the Staatspolitie under German occupation. The helmet has a beautiful painted decal with number 9, and a nice late war cloth liner typical of the helmets produced at the middle to the end of WW2. The chinstrap is missing, but otherwise complete. A very honest, interesting helmet for sure!
