Oud vloeistofkompas in messing/houten behuizing. Het kompas werkt goed en is voorzien van een ingebouwd olielampje voor de verlichting destijds. Het brandertje heeft een porseleinen lont houder, wat zeer zeldzaam is. Het kompas is van de bekende maker, Bergen Nautic te Bergen Noorwegen. Het kompas is genummerd: 18106. In het kompasglas zijn twee nummers gegraveerd, te weten: A730038 en B 1239. De behuizing van het kompas is grijs, wat er op kan duiden dat het ergens bij de Marine heeft gediend.
