Kaws (1974) - KAWS Bape Dissected Baby Milo Black Edition 2011

Watch Out!Are you ready? KAWS x Bape Dissected Baby Milo Black Edition This is rare on the market! About Bape: At the origin of Baby Milo, there is a brand: BAPE. Created in Japan, A Bathing Ape, its full name, is the baby of Nigo, the current artistic director of Kenzo. A true precursor, the latter revolutionized the world of sportswear with his label which became, throughout the 2000s, the favorite of the hip-hop scene, in particular of the pioneering trio Pharell, Jay-Z and Kanye. A fan of the collaboration, Nigo decided to join forces, at the end of the decade, with another Japanese giant: Sanrio, the company behind Hello Kitty, to celebrate the latter's fiftieth anniversary. She is the one who will revamp the gorilla which serves as BAPE’s mascot. Baby Milo is born and attaches himself to clothes which, like everything Nigo touches at the time, are torn off. About: Brian Donnelly is currently best known as the artist KAWS. KAWS is a New York-based artist who has made a name out of him designing limited edition toys and clothing. He is also a world-renowned artist who exhibits in museums and galleries internationally. His art stands somewhere between fine art and global commerce. KAWS moved beyond the sphere of the exclusive art market to occupy a more complex global market. Brian Donnelly was born in 1974 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration. After graduating from college in 1996, Brian Donnelly worked for Disney as a freelance animator. At Disney, Brian Donnelly had the opportunity to paint backgrounds and contributed in films such as 101 Dalmatians, Daria, and Doug. Ready?Steady! Auction...
