F.L. Hill (XlX) - A pair of horse racing at Aylesbury in 1888

I am offering for auction a pair of superb 19th century watercolours by artist F L Hill, of horse racing at Aylesbury in 1888. Both signed. One is titled The Grind, while the other is titled The Stewards Plate. Both show the names of the horses below. Very collectable works of art and the artist fetches very good prices at auction. The paintings measure 54.5 x 18 cm. The frames are 68 x 31 cm. Condition of the paintings is good. Please view all photos for accurate condition. Later frames. Ready to hang. Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only. Due to Brexit, there are delays at EU customs borders though the situation is improving. Please do not blame me for delays or any customs duty payable. I really appreciate your understanding and patience. Steve.
