I am offering for auction a pair of superb 19th century watercolours by artist F L Hill, of horse racing at Aylesbury in 1888. Both signed. One is titled The Grind, while the other is titled The Stewards Plate. Both show the names of the horses below. Very collectable works of art and the artist fetches very good prices at auction. The paintings measure 54.5 x 18 cm. The frames are 68 x 31 cm. Condition of the paintings is good. Please view all photos for accurate condition. Later frames. Ready to hang. Please note.
