Masterfully portrait of countess ( probably Creole origin from French colonies) created in the early 19 century by the anonym artist from the circle of well-nown Jean-Baptist Camille Corot . There are alike portraits in few monographies about Corot (for exemple Portrait of Marie-Louise Laure Sennegon 1831 in Musee du Louvre, Paris).

Technique: oil on canvas. Gold-plated classical style frame.
Measurements: unframed w 18" x h 21 1/2" (46 x 54.5 cm), framed w 24 1/2" x h 28 1/2" (62 x 72.5 cm)
Condition: in good condition, lined, under UV light: slight inpaintings on the cap, dress, sleeve and few tiny inpaintings on the hair.
