These bottles come almost directly from the cool cellars of the domaine where they have aged these past years in optimal conditions. Tasting notes: Color: Brilliant yellow gold. Nose: Very ripe nose which develops notes of honey and quince. When agitated, some fresher nuances of citrus and fine, slightly woody notes. Mouth: The attack is supple with lots of volume. It lingers for a long time with the honeyed aromas of olfaction. Technical info: Grape variety: 100% Chenin Blanc. Location: The vines are located on the first slopes in the town of Vouvray Exposure: North/South and slope at 15% Terrain: Red clay and stone directly on the Turonian tuffeau Age of vines: 26 years Natural richness of the grape: 13 to 14.5% Vol. Harvest date: September 25 to 30, 2017 Harvest: Manual Pressing: Direct pneumatic Fermentation: 3 months at a temperature below 18°C, including malolactic fermentation for one tank.
