Parcels will be sent from Germany - a member of the EU. 1969 Griotte-Chambertin GRAND CRU, Manufacturer: Fernand Pernot A rare opportunity to purchase an old wine in perfect condition!!! Since the purchase, these bottle of wine have been stored in the ideal conditions of a natural wine cellar in one of the estates in northern Switzerland. Therefore, the label was exposed to moisture and dust in a natural cellar. - Label condition: intact, slightly stained - Condition of clasp: intact, holds tight and does not move, NO wine leak. - Bottle size 0.75 L The estate was founded by Fernand Pernot during the 1930s and 1940s. Unmarried and childless, he enlisted the help of his nephew Jean-Claude Fourier, who then took the reins of the domaine in 1969, known as Pernod-Fourier. Subsequently, management of the estate passed into the hands of Jean-Marie Fourrier, the son of Jean-Claude Fourier. Today, since 1992, the domain is named "Fourrier" and is well known to fans of Burgundy nectars. Winemaker Notes: The Griotte-Chambertin is the sole Grand Cru holding in the Pernot - Fourrier domaine. Within "Griotte," which is rather small in size, domain owns about one-quarter hectare. The vines were planted in 1928. Production is always rather limited. The "Griotte" is a sublimely elegant wine without the rough, "sauvage" edges of much of Gevrey's terroir. The photos show you the magnificent, magical color and clarity of the wine. The parcel will be sent with tracking and insurance.
