Absolutely gorgeous Jaeger- LeCoultre Memovox WorldtTime stainless steel wristwatch: At the end of the 1940s, as the post-war economic upturn brought renewed energy and ingenuity, Jaeger-LeCoultre perfected its mastery of striking mechanisms by developing an alarm watch. The year 1950 saw the birth of the Memovox. Over the next 70 years, and through its variations for urban lifestyles and diving sports, it became a benchmark in alarm wristwatches. To meet the needs of a new generation of international businessmen, Jaeger LeCoultre adapted its emblematic dial by displaying the 24 time zones in addition to the alarm function. Movement: K 825,signed SWISS Fab. Suisse Jaeger-LeCoultre SWISS Serial number of the movement: 1581559 Country Of Manufacture: Switzerland Crystal: Acrylic Dial: professionally restored, two tone black, applied silver baton hour markers, world time disc in the dial center with the differnt time zones. Band Type: brand new, black, genuine leather strap Band Length: 21 cm including watch Special features: central second, date, alarm system CONDITION: Dial: professionally restored, very good condition. Stainless steel case is in very good condition. There are some small traces of use on it. Genuine, signed with Jaeger-LeCoultre crowns without damage. The caseback is hallmarked on the inner side with "LeCoultre". Movement: The two defining features of the cal. K 825 are the so-called " bumper" winding system and the hammer-based alarm. The movement is in very good working order, keeps time correctly. It's after watchmaker's service.
