Extremely rare view of old Baku ( the capital of Azerbaijan) was executed c. 1930 by a German painter-traveller Ernst Schmidt.
Inscription: signed and titled : " E.Schmidt. Baku.", lower right.
Technique: oil on canvasl, original period gold-plated frame.
Measurements: image w 21 2/3" x h 27 1/8" (55 x 69 cm); framed w 25 1/4" x h 30 3/4" ( 64 x 78 cm).
Condition: in very good condition.
