Splendid 19th century diamond floral spray brooch. Variety of diamond cuts including old European cut and rose cuts in open cut down collet set, mounted in silver with gold backing and pin. The brooch has a small loop where a safety pin can be attached. The four largest diamonds measure approximately 1.25 ct, of which the largest central old mine cut diamond measures around 0.5 ct. The total weight of diamonds is approximately 2.7 ct. The brooch comes with an antique leather and silk presentation box. Beautiful foliate design with good quality diamonds that look wonderful in daylight, but even more fiery and sparkling in artificial light.
