The Highland scotch whisky matured in a peated first-fill bourbon cask, before being bottled without chill filtration or added colour, and with an outturn of only 235 bottles. ---- Dailuaine 8yo 2015 From independent bottler Adelphi, an eight-year-old single malt from Dailuaine. Distilled in 2015, the whisky rested in a single cask until 2023 when a total of 290 cask-strength bottles were released. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose Buttered fruit scones, candied citrus, vanilla, and oily oak. Palate A buttery array of caramel, toffee apple, and vanilla, backed by gingerbread, and cinnamon dusted tea loaf. Finish Blanched almonds and buttery barley linger, with crushed peppercorns bringing some warmth.
