One of the prestigious zone in Spain RIBERA DEL DUERO. . Behind the ashlar walls of this winery lies the personal history of our family. Under this building a series of underground galleries (openworks) were excavated and covered with ashlar stone. These cavities were used for aging bottled wine thanks to the fact that they maintain a constant temperature, around 13 degrees, and a constant humidity, 85%, throughout the year. The width of its arches, unmatched in Ribera del Duero, is proof of nobility since it indicates that the winery was designed to produce and store a large quantity of wine coming not only from the vineyards of Aranda del Duero, but also from the rest of towns The wine comes from low-yield vineyards, 3000 kg hectare, "Tempranillo" variety. It is made with long maceration with its skins, obtaining a large amount of tannins that will make this reserve last over time. Once the wine is made, it is aged in French oak barrels until bottling.
