One French title, two red and black titles with engraved vignettes, descriptive text to plates numbered alphabetically, 1 double-page engraved townplan and 102 double-page fine engraved plates (26x36cm) Plates: All plates in fine condition without tears or discolouring. Minimal brownspotting in margins not affecting plates. Text: Light 19th- and 20th century autograph with pencil [pp. C-C1,C3, H3, I3, K, L1], mainly concerning the history of the buildings. Corners of endpapers browned. Binding: Contemporary half-calf with leather cornerpieces and raised [6] bands, red and gilt title labels and [partially faded] green/black tome pieces. Corners a little bumped and top and bottom spine a minimal worn. Lower spine volume one darkened.
