Vivid and elegant miniature on paper, depicting a Court scene of the Kingdom of Persia, probably a page taken from an acient manuscript, perhaps from the 19th century or later. The coloured picture is framed in gold and accompanied by persian written words and a text is visible on the other side of the page. This kind of miniatures adorned history, religious or literature books of Persian noblemen and were made starting from the conversion of Iran to Islam. Paper is in overall good vintage condition, with some minor ink or water spots, and comes framed in modern frame with a glass passe-partout. Dimension: framed 43 x 34 cm only the paper 25,5 x 15.5 cm
