Rare vintage somerso vase "Eruption", designed and handmade by Ivan Bonev, Bulgaria, produced by SIP company in 70-s . SIP (Stoyko Ivanov Peev) СИП Стойко Иванов Пеев is the oldest Bulgarian glass factory, established 1893 in Beloslav, near city of Varna. The company closed doors about 30 years ago and now the items of SIP are going more and more valuable and collectable. Hand made. Somerso technique, together with controlled bubbles. Very decorative, astonishing piece of art, with magic presence in the room space. Different from each angle of view… Perfect and emblematic example of Mid Century Modern design. In excellent vintage condition, no chips and cracks, no repairs. Anyway used and some minor traces of wear could be observed. Fortunately - insignificant.
