A beautiful 1960's vintage police helmet from the Netherlands.
Used by the Porsche surveillance team.
From the contents of the former police garage in Delft (Van Leeuwenhoeksingel).
This helmet is one of the first series of helmets and was used by police mechanics.
Provenance: private police collection.
It has the characteristic white-orange "Rijkspolitie" striping of that time.
Creamy white shiny open Porsches, driven by tough guys in long white coats. There are few police units that appeal to the imagination as much as the former Porsche group of the Dutch National Police. From 1962 to 1996, the police had more than 500 of these sports cars in 13 versions.
In a complete good vintage condition.
Missing some of the white stickers. The orange stickers are still present.
