Vintage 1920`s Edwardian/ Art Deco - Pendant - 18 kt. White gold, Yellow gold - 0.11ct. tw. Diamond - Pearl

Type of jewel: Vintage high quality Art Deco / Edwardian diamond and pearl pendant Condition: very good Style: Vintage 1920`s something between Edwardian and Art Deco Style characteristics: As for its elegant design, this jewel has the finesse of an Edwardian piece reacting gracefully against the very geometrical forms of Art Deco that was strongly influenced by Cubism. However, because both Edwardian and Art Deco styles were contemporaries of each other, we sometimes notice pieces - like this one - that carry both influences. Era: ca. 1920 Material: 18K yellow gold and white gold or platinum (touchstone tested) Diamond(s): One old mine brilliant cut (also called bolshevic) with an estimated weight of ± 0.11ct. (colour and clarity: G/I, vs/si). Six rose cut. We do not have the weight of these diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cuts. All diamond weights, color grades and clarity are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting. All diamonds in our vintage and antique jewellery are verified by the IJGC-lab to confirm whether they are natural or lab-grown. We do not offer any pieces with lab-grown diamonds. Thus, we assure that all diamonds in this jewel are 100% natural. Precious stone(s): Twelve seed pearls Birth and month stones: Diamond is the birthstone (or month stone) for April and Pearl is the birthstone (or month stone) for June. Hallmarks: "750" indicating 18K gold Dimensions: diameter 2,50 cm (0,98 inch) - See picture with a ruler in cm and inches Weight: 5,50 gram (3,54 dwt) Adin reference Nº: 24127-0070 - Accompanied by a professional report of authenticity for your peace of mind. - Shipped insured and registered for your security, though you're most welcome to collect in person. - For shipments outside the EU, import duties and other charges may apply. We advise checking this in advance. - We invite you to browse through our customer feedback to discover the level of satisfaction we consistently provide. - See more of our products, visit: https://auction.catawiki.com/lotsfrom/Adin - Antique and vintage jewellery often undergoes thoughtful refurbishment, remodelling, or repairs to enhance its longevity and wearability. Such pieces frequently bear marks of this tender care. Furthermore, we present our antique and vintage jewellery in its authentic state, refraining from removing scratches or applying rhodium plating to white gold items. Our priority is to preserve the genuine allure and history of each piece. However, as the new owner, you have the option to take it to a local goldsmith for a cosmetic refresh, should you choose.
