VINIFICATION Plot by plot, the grapes are tasted successively in the field until the ideal moment for harvesting is found. Once at the winery, the grapes, separated by variety and plot, are destemmed, gently crushed and sent to different fermentation vessels - granite presses, oak vats, concrete and stainless steel vats. Our in-depth knowledge of our plots allows us to choose the most suitable vessel and type of fermentation. The maceration time between the must and the skins is prolonged, to achieve the desired body and structure. After malolactic fermentation, 20% of the wine ages in French oak barrels, 30% in barrels and vats of the same type of wood and the remaining 50% in stainless steel vats for around 12 months. This wine was bottled between March and July 2023. TASTING NOTES Maroon red color, clear and bright. Lively aroma. Strong aromatic intensity, highlighting strawberries, raspberries, rockrose and also warm aromas such as cocoa. The mouthfeel is engaging and vibrant. The sweetness and freshness of the fruit mix harmoniously, creating a long-lasting and refreshing finish, with tannins soft. SERVING It is an excellent companion for reading, chatting with family, friends and how appetizer. Given its elegance and freshness, it is a wine with enormous breadth and possibilities. Gastronomic options: accompaniment to a feijoada, vegetarian dishes, Serve between 16ºC and 18ºC.
