Hertel & Reuss Stereo microscope STE 6, Kassel, Germany, early 1970s.

This luxury solid stereo microscope is built by optical-firm Hertel & Reuss. This STE 6 is their last type stereo microscope. Hardly any signs of use, lacquer is intact, mechanical functions run smoothly without play, extensive optic is clean without scratches/fungus. This microscope is equipped with: - Very stable tripod, coarse control via rails with stop, a fine adjustment with knobs, slip device with key, binocular, adjustable pupil distance and diopter adjustment; - The microscope of greenough-type has two objective-revolvers 3 X/8X and 2X/4x, there are 5 eyepiece-pairs: 2X W5X-15(H&R), 2X W10X-15(Periplan-Leitz!), 2X W15X--2.5 (H&R), 2X 20X(Huygens Periscope, H&R) and 2X 25X(Huygens Periscope, H&R), magnification 10X to 200X. For shooting pictures, lenses 2 x, 3 x and 4 x diaphragms are included; - As lower lighting an infinitely dimmable 220V led or light bulb, with mirror, it can also be used as upper light. In addition, two individually adjustable infinitely dimmable projectors, professionally converted to 12V led light (cold/hot). The duo led transformer is specially designed; - The scoop weighs 3.75 kg, 7 kg with case, original case (37.5 X 21.5 X 29 cm), with lock, no key, closes à la Russe (nail!). Furthermore, lower panels (black/white and glass), German-language manual. The micro photographs of stereo preparations (included micromounts) are made with this microscope and a digital usb eyepiece (not included). The microscope will be shipped well packed with track and trace.
