Beautiful porcelain tableware of the company Rosenthal. The well known and influential Raymond Loewy (1893-1986), born in France, a naturalized American citizen, designed this tableware set in the early 1950s for Rosenthal. This design was named Form 2000, decoration Bunte Blätter. This tableware set for 4 persons consists of: - 2 large tureens with silver coloured holders (diam. 23 cm, height 8 cm, measured without the lid. The silver coloured layer on the inside has been polished away). - 4 dinner plates (diam. 25 cm). - 4 soup plates (diam. 22.5 cm). - 4 breakfast plates (diam. 21 cm). - 1 gravy boat (opening 15.5 x 14.5 cm). - 1 small tureen (opening diam 13 cm, height 5 cm, measured without the lid). - 1 large oval dish (33.5 x 24.5 cm). - 2 small oval dishes (24 x 13.5 cm). - 4 cups and saucers (cup: diam. 7 cm, height 6 cm, saucer diam. 13 cm). - 1 creamer (height 9 cm). - 4 egg cups (diam. 5 cm, height 4.7 cm). - 1 pepper shaker (height 5.5 cm.
