Very nice vintage turntable with wooden plinth from the English brand Garrard. Warm sound. Nowadays turntables like this one are not being made anymore. This turntable works perfectly. It looks excellent. No visible signs of use on plinth or body. Dust cover is also in excellent condition. Fitted with a nice Shure cartridge with good needle. Turntable has been serviced by a technician. The belt is new. The original DIN connection has been replaced by a new gilded RCA connection to guarantee a interference-free sound. This turntable can be connected to all amplifiers, provided that these are fitted with a phono preamp. It has been cleaned and polished. The dust cover has been polished and is entirely scratch-free. The Garrard 86SB MKII is a fully automatic record player with selection of different formats of records (12,10 and 7 inch) and speeds of 33 to 45 rpm. Player can also be controlled manually. Fitted with a heavy turning base, which is driven by the famous Garrard synchro engine. This engine provides a nice and constant speed of the record. The tone-arm is an aluminium S-arm with a fixed head-shell. The turntable is fitted with a Shure M75 6s cartridge with a good needle.
