Two different medals, struck in honour of the 700th anniversary of Amsterdam in 1975.
Among many events, the R.A.I. offered a grand party in the R.A.I. building from 24 to 29 June 1975 under the name "Mokum 700". The 1 florin pieces could be purchased for 50 cents a piece and could be used as currency during the event.
Obverse: "1275 1975 MOKUM 700 FLORIJN".
Reverse: "INSIGNIA AMSTELREDAMI".
Material: 1 florin - cupro-nickel / 5 florins - 900/1000 silver.
Mintage: 1 florin - 1,024,500 / 5 florins - 1800.
Quality: on average UNC.
