History: The Curta was invented by Curt Herzstark during his detention in Buchenwald concentration camp. Once the second world war was over, he improved its design. A prototype was produced by Aryan, in Weimar. The Prince of the Liechtenstein bought the concept and the machine was produced by Contina.
