A brass sculpture of a man who is taming a horse. This cast bronze-coloured sculpture is based on one of the original marble 'Chevaux de Marly’. In 1739, King Louis XV commissioned the famous French sculptor Guillaume Coustou (1677-1746) to make these horses for the gardens of Chateau Marly.

Width: 24 cm
Depth: 10.5 cm.
Condition: generally good with slight wear to the patina and signs of use.
