Please remember that only Dolby B existed and the best tape was a chrome (CrO2) tape. The CT-3000 was introduced in 1979 as part of the 3000 series in an innovative design concept. In addition to the cassette deck, the series consisted of a Direct-Drive record player, a tuner and amplifier, a speaker set and a modular rack system. The Pioneer has not suffered from any noteworthy damage through the years. It is a highly sought-after vintage audio item, mainly because of the special VU meters in Porthole or “Bullaugen” design. The CT-3000 plays great, with a clear sound and it does not have any wild noises. All vintage audio equipment offered by me is professionally checked and tested before taking pictures.
