Parker Duofold Centennial XL "Red Marble" Fountain Pen | 1st Version

On offer is a gorgeous Parker Duofold Centennial (oversize) fountain pen done in a reddish marble acrylic complemented with gold-plated trim. This is a cartridge/converter (original converter included) ink system fountain pen with an 18-carat solid gold dual-tone nib, graded MEDIUM. The modern Duofolds were designed during the 1980's and were to be the most modern fountain pen to date. With a ten-day computer controlled manufacturing process, and made from over 130 components, it was subjected to 100 quality tests. The large nibs alone, punched out from a single gold sheet, had 21 production stages. These nibs were hand-slit with a blade as fine as a human hair and finished by tumbling for 48 hours in a barrel filled with walnut shells, and then hand polished. Includes original presentation case. Will be sent via Registered Mail with tracking information. I strive to provide as accurate a description of the items as possible, and all the photographs complement this information. All items are original - no fakes or replicas.
