Delftware or Delft pottery, also known as Delft Blue (Dutch: Delfts blauw), is blue and white pottery made in and around Delft in the Netherlands and the tin-glazed pottery made in the Netherlands from the 16th century till now. Very large collection of original Delft Blue pottery and related items consisting of: - 1. Large Delft blue windmill with lighting fixture and plug 220/230 Volt connection, antique item, with square nut in the movable blades. Height 25 cm. Signature ‘Delft 172’. - 2. Large Delft blue beer wine or water pulse number 227 from a limited series of only 5000 copies worldwide. Marked; “Origineel Delftsblauw Handwerk decor No. 1001 vrij naar J.H. Weissenbruck 1834-1903 (with Delftware master mark OWR) anno 1661 made in Holland. With beautiful images of flowers on one side and the other side a beautifully framed Old Dutch Windmill scene, with a little craquele size 13 cm, diameter 11 cm. - 3. Metal ashtray with rare antique Delft blue tile (about 13 x 13 cm) with an image of a dough-making baker, total size 19.8 x 19.8 cm. - 4. Delft Blue Young Gin (Jonge Jenever) bottle, with cork cap. Exclusively produced for Gall & Gall, empty capacity 500 cc, height 22.5 cm, diameter 7.5 cm. - 5. Delft blue piggy bank, hand-painted on both sides, marked ‘Delfts Holland’, size 13 cm. - 6. Metal box with detachable lid, with a scene inspired by the Delft blue pottery of sailing ships with a village scene on the left and a fortified city wall on the right.
