Early sculpture by the Spanish sculptor Lluis Jorda. It dates back to the 1980’s and out of production for approx. 25-30 years. I have emailed Mr Jorda to ask for more information, especially on the signature. Here’s a part of his reply: “It is one of my early models, made in 1985-1990, at my beginnings as a professional sculptor. [..] The signature was made by the initials of my two family names, Jorda-Perpinyà, as I used to do in that early times, instead of Lluis Jordà which I have been using afterwards. [..]. “ I can forward the complete email to the auction winner, if appreciated. A layer containing bronze powder on a resin core, OR a painted bronze effect on resin (Mr Jorda isn’t sure). Natural stone base. Will be packaged with lots of bubble wrap. On top of that, the shipping costs include insurance.
