Biography is listed in the lexion of Dutch painters from 1750 to 1950. Registered as an art painter at the national documentation center of visual artists in s-Gravenhage Holland. There are works by him in several museums. Brocken was born in Rotterdam on 29-01-1917 and died 11-01-1994 in Kaatsheuvel. Lived and worked in Kaatsheuvel, Waalwijk and Loon op zand, Etten leur, Kleef, Amsterdam, among other places. Made study trips to: France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Spain. Education: gemeentetekenschool Waalwijk, Groninger tekenschool. He was a teacher at the Th Delft. He painted, watercoloured, drew (also pen and pastel).
