The lid is beautifully processed with cut out leaves and in the middle a medallion of metal with 2 peacocks in the middle. Material is presumably ebony. The blue game includes: Piatnik Doppeldeutsche no. 1886, 36 cards Red game: Piatnik Doppeldeutsche Schnapskarten no. 1756, 24 Blatt Both games are not played with and date back to ca. 1970.
