Paolo Staccioli - Jarrón (1) - Cerámica
Born in Florence in 1943, Paul Staccioli began his experience as an artist in the seventies, making his debut as a painter and being soon noticed in the local area. In the early nineties the need to experiment with new forms of expression led him to Faenza, in the workshop of a local potter, Umberto Santandrea, where he learned the techniques of this art. It is here that Staccioli realised his first vases, first with the technique of glazed ceramic, then experiencing the firing "reduction", which allowed him to achieve extraordinary effects of iridescence and lustre.
