Serene Neyret Freres Stevengraph dating to the early 1900's. The black and white weaving features two praying nuns on a gray background. The antique French woven silk picture is based on the painting "Les Rameaux" (The palm Sunday) by French artist Elisabeth Sonrel which has been faithfully executed on the Jacquard ribbon looms of the Neyret brothers' weavers house, founded in 1823. There are the "NF" initials in the lower right corner and bears the caption "D'Après E. Sonrel" (After E. Sonrel) in the lower left corner. It has been framed under glass in a antique wooden frame.
