As Iittala's artistic leader, and with Wirkkala's unique artistic vision, he helped establish the company's global reputation. Throughout his legendary career, the uniquely gifted artist created more than four hundred glass items for Iittala such as Ultima Thule, Arnica, Solaris and Tapio series.
