Carmencita and Caballero are arguably the best advertising characters of Italian TV. The audience got the message and their imagination gave Caballero and Carmencita not just arms and legs, but also a heart. The two basic ceramic cones became famous and the "Carosello" advert's closing line "Carmencita sei già mia, chiudi il gas e vieni via" (Carmencita you're already mine, turn off the gas and come with me) entered common parlance. Paulista is a classical example of advertising campaign that, working on all types of media, managed to satisfy every means of communication: static, auditive, cinematic. Items designed and produced by Armando Testa, with the advertising mark on the underside, in ceramic, measuring 25 cm (he) and 20 cm (she), both with base measuring approx. 12.5 cm.
