Fabulous Satsuma Vase by Kinkozan Sobei
Exquisitely painted in minute detail, depicting two beautiful ladies and their children on boys day.
Nice shape and with a height of 27 cm it has a good size.
Signed 'Kinkozan tsukuru' on the bottom with paint (with a hole through it) and with an impressed mark. There is also a signature in red on the side of the vase
Condition: overall good, there is the usual crackle in the glaze associated with Satsuma ware. There is a hairline through the bouquet with irises. There is hole in the bottom as the vase was once used as a lamp. There is some rubbing to de gold on the rim.
