Beautiful work by the famous Dutch painter Herman Paradies with a view on the Spuiwater in Rotterdam. The painting is in good condition (see photo). The difference in tones in the photos is due to the reflection in the glass. Herman Paradies chosen subject for his work is mostly city views. He was inspired by everyday life at prominent places in Rotterdam and later also in Schiedam. Especially the role of the water, in which the lot is reflected, and thus made an additional contribution to the composition, was for him a fascinating phenomenon. He mastered the technique of displaying that special reflection, which is also clearly visible in this painting. The painting will be shipped a custom-made sturdy box to avoid any risk of damage.
