RARITY VIENNESE BAROQUE CLOCK WITH A REPEATER AND CARILLON 8 bells plus music box, quarter hour strike 18th c. clock in ebonised architectural wooden case, on four bent feet; front carving between the front feet decorated with volutes, above it's profiled with wavy cornice; in the corners - pilasters with arching protrusions in the bottom part; door mounted on two hinges, glazed, finished with an arch; inside - red cloth background - velvet - with the applied dial ring, painted white with black Roman numerals; openwork indicators; in the middle, there is a brass plate in a capricious Rococo shape, decorated with engraved regency diagonal checked pattern, Rocaille, acanthus, flowers, and shells; under the arch and in the bottom corners - openwork applications with vine, acanthus, and flower motifs; at the top, strike dial surrounded with pearls and featuring an inscription: 'Schlage / Nicht', glazed side walls with arching openwork speakers lined with red cloth; back door lined with the same material; against this background, an openwork gold-plated woodcarving elements in the shape of Rocaille, shells, acanthus branches (some of it is missing in the bottom left corner); the top part features an arched cornice, convex volutes, and small belvedere at the top; fusee movement with volutes; pendulum regulator and a system of hour, half-hour, and quarter repeat; also, the clock features a carillon - music box movement with a rod, wheel, and hammers; Ebonised wood, prepared elements of woodwork - gilded, brass, bronze, glass, height 57.5 cm, width 38.5 cm, depth 19 cm.
