This postmodern floor lamp by Artemide Milano is in good condition and it is called: Nestore Lettura. The lamp is ideal as a reading light, but it can also be used to light an object (see photo). Its long arm is kept in balance by a silver spherical counterweight. The base and the stand are both made of black metal. The lampshade is made of black thermoplastic. There is a slide dimmer incorporated in the stand, which can be used to set the ideal light intensity. Base size: diameter 25 cm. Measurements: stand = 125 cm, arm = 104 cm Lamp holder: halogen, 1 x 50 W / 12 V Practical information: the lamp can be picked up in Groningen, or in Hattem (near Zwolle), after consultation. About the designer: Carlo Forcolini was born in Como, Italy, in 1947, where he studied at the Brera Academy for Fine Arts. In 1981 he started as a designed for prestigious names such as Alias, Cassina, De Padova, Pomellato and Artemide. His work is shown seen at numerous international shows and events. He works and lives in Milan.
