Le Corbusier - Charlotte Perriand, voor Lumax - Piedras de vidrio como vide poche - Vidrio
Le Corbusier & Charlotte Perriand for Lumax - They designed these very large, solid glass stones in collaboration. These glass stones were later used as an interior decoration, as vide-poche.
Le Corbusier was a Swiss-French architect and urban planner. His significance and influence for the ‘new construction’ and the international style were of such importance that he is sometimes called ‘the architect of the 20th century’. His work got a lot of praise though also a lot of criticism. Critics see him as responsible for the ‘death of architecture’ and the soullessness of modern city architecture, while other architects and art enthusiasts compare his genius with that of Michelangelo or Picasso.
