Amazing plaster plaque depicting a façade of the Alhambra Palace in Granada (Spain). Made by the Spanish artist Rafael Rus Acosta in the beginning of the 20th century. The plaque depicts a mihrab topped with three windows. The paint is colourful and finished with gold. The artist’s name is engraved on the bottom left, while on the right you can find the following words: “Granada 25”. The frame is made with polychrome inlays and inserts with Arabic words. In good overall condition, with spots, loss of colours and some cracks shown by pictures. The frame has missing tiles and inlays, signs of woodworms and of wear, chips and scratches.
