A rare 75cl bottle of Blanc de Noir vino spumante brut (sparkling wine) produced by the Scrimaglio Winery in Nizza Monferrato, Asti, Piemonte, Italy. This wine was produced as a limited edition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo in 2010. The bottle has the iconic Alfa Romeo emblem set in a relief-moulded representation of the famous grille (based on the GT model), and bears an 'Alfa Romeo Official Product' seal on the neck foil. I attended the Alfa Romeo centenary event in Milan on 24th June 2010 and purchased this bottle directly from the vineyard's outlet at the Alfa Romeo Museum. Returning home a few days later, it has been stored since then on it's side in a cool, dark location but I cannot guarantee that it is still drinkable.
