The lamp is of the very rarely found maker: J.C. Stelling Lantern Factory in Amsterdam, as can be read on the brass maker’s plate in relief letters. J.C. Stelling Factory was open from 1857 to 1897, and was established at Boommarkt 2, Voorburgwal corner, Amsterdam.
Ship lamp from the 19th century made of red copper and brass. The 360-degree fresnel lens shine is still completely intact.
The lamp was originally an oil lamp but features new electrical wiring with beautiful blue fabric casing new plug and switch and a new porcelain fitting.
The lamp comes with the new Edison LED lamp, making it directly usable as a maritime mood lighting. A special model ship lamp and a beautiful piece of maritime history. A real eye catcher in any interior.
