Fine set of six porcelain demi-tasse cups and saucers made between 1880 and 1890 in Limoges, France. The set was produced by Theodore Haviland and resold as whiteware to be painted in another studio such as Stouffer or Pickard. The twisted (swirl) model of this cup and saucer can be found in the Haviland collection. The decoration is hand-painted in wonderful bright colours. The base is white and bright blue with a large amount of flowers in red, pink and green. Everything outlined with gold. Marked: the saucers are impressed with number 90. Dimensions: saucer diameter is 12 cm, cup diameter is 6 cm and height is 5.5 cm. Condition: in wonderful, entirely undamaged condition.
