A rare and beautiful lighter, made in during the WWI. It is decorated both on the front and on the top with a very finely detailed brass repousse of the Royal coat of arms of Great Britain with the Royal motto "Dieu et mon droit" (God and my right) written on it.
A beautifully crafted piece, that was probably owned by a higher ranking officer.
There is a mark of a four-leaf clover on the cap.
Quite a large lighter,
10,5 cm high
2,9 cm diameter
Overall good condition and complete with a dent on the right side of the coat of arms on the front.
