Blucher-type crossguard, filigreed ray-skin grip. Black lacquered sheath, for the First World War (to eliminate glare from the sun) Good Blucher-type mount in bronze with long-tailed pommel and thick S-shaped guard branch. The crossguard has smooth half ears. The grip is covered with grey stingray skin, twisted filigree . The slightly curved 83 cm blade has a recessed fuller, it is acid-etched with plant motifs, warriors and an un-deciphered inscription. Beautiful nickel-plating Nice sword, successor to the 1852 model and very strongly inspired by the 1811 model.
