He particularly photographed his family and friends in the spirit of the natural and reformed free-body culture. He published in many magazines. At the end of 1950 to 1965 he became editor of the magazine "Helios" - independent monthly magazine for natural life culture. It was published in collaboration with the Adolf Koch Institute in Berlin. Considered to be the most important magazine of the post-war period, which continues the ideas of the free body culture of the 1920s. Vintage photos by Arthur Schultze-Naumburg are rarely found.
