Lorrain (Daum) - Henri Fournet - Lámpara
Art Deco period lamp as proposed by Henri Fournet company, a renowned ironworker of art installed in Lyon during the interwar period: a similar model appears in a promotional leaflet dating from 1929.
The wrought-iron foot with a vegetal decoration bears the stamp "Le Fer Forgé H.F," the signature of Henri Fournet's establishments. It supports a lampshade made of bright yellow and orange clouded glass from the Verrerie D’art Lorrain, an emanation of Daum House.
This lamp is in very good condition but, as it is often the case in the productions of the time, there are some air bubbles in the glass paste including a burst surface bubble on the inside. (See photo 15)
The lamp works with a B22 bayonet socket and a Zeppelin switch. It was rewired with twisted electrical cable and sheathed in black fabric.
The documents are not part of the sale.
