In 2009, Dutch Hella Jongerius designed 3 textile tapestries with animals for the Swedish furniture company IKEA.
The textile, named Pelle, Mikkel and Gullspira, was made by women in India as part of a project by Unicef and IKEA. They feature a goat, a fox and a rabbit; animals found in Swedish fairytales.
The tapestries are made of a mix of wool felt, printed cotton and a polyester band with holes to hang them on the wall. The various parts are sewn together by hand.
The dimensions are 70 cm x 93 cm.
The item will be well-packaged and shipped insured to a postal point or home address.
