Two beautiful hand made and hand painted figures in original condition, made of solid wood. I was told the following story when I bought them: These two figures were made near the end of the war and were inspired by Disney's Mickey and Minnie Mouse. They are depicted to cheer for the alliance troops. Detail: the year of the liberation, 1945, is inscribed in Minnie's mouth. The figures are in good condition but do show some signs of age and wear. In my opinion this makes them even more beautiful and adds to the vintage look of the figures. They are standing on a heart-shaped base.
