The direct/reflecting Bose 901 concept requires its Bose equalizer companion to get adaptative frequency response. Speakers positioning in the room (distance to back wall) is also important. The Bose equalizer is here a more recent model (the original model was defect) with same (or better) performances and quite similar frequency response. The equalizer is in perfect working state, it has been verified (frequency curves and distortion has been laboratory-measured for datasheet performance verification), pot dividers cleaned-up. The speakers sound quite great when well placed in the room. Very open and pleasent stages of the instruments/singers. Owner's Manual and Service Manual provided (copy).
